Superb. Better than expected.
Now that I own a Gazelle T9, I’m able to see up close how beautifully built it is. The welds are smooth, the paint quality is like a Rolls Royce. But most of all it’s wonderful to ride. It fits me perfectly and feels as natural as riding a traditional bike — without the work! It’s so much fun.
Avignon a wonderful bike!
Purchased an Avignon late October. Really appreciate the ease of riding this bike provides. Love the upright positioning. I wish the saddle was a bit more cushy though. I will make an upgrade on this in the future. Solid bike.
I wrote a review already.same bike
I wrote a review already.same bike, still works great, only a bit of vine when low gear uphill only now and then. Bike shop says that’s when 8 am “workimg against the gears”. Who knew!
Absolutely a great product
Absolutely a great product. I purchased myGazelle Ultimate C380+ in February 2023. With nearly 2 years and 6 months of ownership I am approach 8,000 total miles ridden. Besides a shift cable adjustment just after my purchase and a Bosch Purion replacement needed and covered by warranty I have had no issues with this purchase. The bike looks and rides like new.
Bought the Eclipse C380+ from a local…
Bought the Eclipse C380+ from a local dealer here in Washington, DC. Lots of commuting time on my past two e-bikes (non-Gazelle) informed this buying decision. I wanted a more upright posture, front suspension, little to no maintenance (I was having to clean/lube chain twice a month), stepless transmission, excellent build quality, and be esthetically pleasing. I hit a home run with the Eclipse C380+. The Bosch auto mode coupled with the Enviolo is a match made in heaven, and the 750wh battery means I have no range anxiety and I don't have to charge at work before the evening commute. I added the Bosch ConnectModule kit after I purchased (easy to install yourself), for piece of mind. Around 700miles in, I recommend without reservation.
The annoying aspect of the Arroyo C8 CMB
I recently purchased the Arroyo C8 CMB. I highly rate the comfort level (saddle!), the easy switch adjustment on the handlebars (no tools needed!) and the pure joy of exerting low energy while climbing a sharp hill with a 25 mph wind in my face. This is what I paid for and I'm happy in this regard. The not-so-pleased part includes a squeaky battery casement when riding. I found the issue mentioned on a reddit site specific to this model. I have added grease to the sides of the battery and added a sponge cushion to the bottom of the battery before loading it. Bike shop did some adjustments to the removable cover to no avail. The noise is truly ruining a pleasurable ride.
Gezelle Arroyo C8- Two years of adjusting
Gezelle Arroyo C8- It took me 2 years to finally adjust the Wave Frame of my C8 so it was somewhat stable.
When I first got the bike, I set the seat and handlebars for an upright position. I was shocked how much frame shimmy the bike had. I seldom rode it. I considered it to unstable. I finally figured out if I slant the seat forward and lower the handlebars, my body becomes the third leg of the frame triangle. Much more stable. Not a position I prefer, but I now ride it more often.
If Gizelle thickened the downtube (battery) and the "bridge" to the seat post 1-2 mms, the low step frame would be much more rigid.
All other parts of the bike are excellent.

The test ride on the Arroyo Elite C7
The test ride on the Arroyo Elite C7 sold me after a few other rides of other brands. It's a smooth ride and a solid piece of equipment. The style and color were appealing from the start. The ride sold me! I call it the Volvo of bikes.
I still love my 1992 Cannondale H400 for daily trip around town.
They get along fine in my garage:)
After loving being an endurance cyclist…
After loving being an endurance cyclist and bike commuter up to 60 miles round trip, this 72 year old decided to purchase a T10+. Low back issues and a future knee replacement hinted it was time. I continue to ride my carbon bikes, but I'm realizing how this bike can be used in different ways. Firstly, I've replaced the 11x36 cassette with an 11x46. It allows me to push up steep climbs in eco giving me a more natural cadence using less power. It's fun and impressed me on how much exercise it allows. Secondly, I use it to run errands. It's more enjoyable for me to ride my t10+ to a destination, rather than drive. I have it set up as a touring bike hoping to use it it in that way soon. I purchased an extra battery for future long rides. While I continue to think of new uses for my bike, I'll enjoy the fun of just riding it.
Early thoughts on a great bike
Early thoughts on a great bike. I have the Eclipse C380+ HMB 55" orange version in the UK. I'm really pleased with it. I like the Enviolo gear hub stepless gears, BUT it is significantly noisier when the motor is on. There is an electrical whine from the motor which stops when it's ridden when the electric motor is turned off. It is not very loud, but when people compliment the belt drive as being silent, it is a shame to have that motor noise! I have ridden other ebikes, which are whine free under load. The noise will not bother you in town but just might in the country.
The GPS battery is supposed to last 10 days, but it did only 2 days recently when the main battery was out. Overall, though, I have no regrets. This is a positive review about all the other features. It ticks loads of boxes, and I hope to remain envy free when I see other people's purchases. I'm just giving some context. The charger is not compatible with most earlier Bosch models :-(
Reflections After Three Weeks with The Eclipse
I've owned my Gazelle Eclipse now for a little over three weeks and so far, I absolutely love it. I have already put 230 miles on the bike in that time. I'm a 69 year old, lifelong daily cyclist who has experienced knee problems and had not ridden for the better part of a year, so I thought it might be time for an eBike. The Eclipse has got me back on the road in a big way and I'm getting plenty of exercise too! I might also add that I own several very well made non electric Dutch bikes and the Gazelle Eclipse is by far a superior machine in every regard. I wish I would have invested in a Gazelle sooner.
Great Bike - Less Than Stellar Assembly/Reliability
This is a comfortable and powerful ebike and overall I am happy with it. Unfortunately, I've had several problems with it that has caused me to take it back to the dealer. First off, I don't think the bike was assembled well nor was it prepared for delivery when I took possession. There was glue residue on the fenders and the forks from wrapping during shipment that was not removed prior to delivery. Additionally, the derailleur was not set up correctly causing the chain to slap. No one really explained all the features of the bike at delivery. On two separate occasions the bike would either not turn on or would turn on then turn off almost immediately. Once this happened when I was 15 miles from home. The service tech found issues with the battery and a plug missing from the bottom of the motor. The central issue was a communication error. Hopefully, they have it fixed. I've had two other ebikes (Trek and Cannondale) that I rode over 3,000 miles each and never had a single issue. While the Gazelle is the more powerful and comfortable of the three e-bikes I've owned, it has been the least reliable. If had it to do over again, I would likely revisit Trek for a comparably outfitted e-bike.
Satisfied Gazelle Customers
My wife and I didn't do a lot of comparison between the various E-Bikes on the market, we shopped locally with a dealer who has been dealing Gazelle bicycles for years and with his knowledge and confidence in the Gazelle product line. It took no time to convince us that the Gazelle bicycles were a great fit for us. Within 3 months from purchase to parking the bikes for the season, we each put on more than 750 miles. These were the right bike for us, and we like passing on our satisfaction with others in terms of product endorsement.
My Gazelle
I got my Gazelle late last November and, living in Maine, the weather has not made it possible to ride any bike. 🙂 The first 2 short rides were great and I look forward to the weather getting warmer (in the 40’s 👍🏻) and taking my Gazelle out often. 🙂
I bought my bike for my 60th birthday
I bought my bike for my 60th birthday. It’s been nothing but joy to me since I purchased it. The range is wonderful. And it has allowed me to go places or I would not be able to go. If I have one complaint it’s that the bike is a little heavy other than that I would highly recommended for the price and the value.
High Quality and Very Comfortable to Ride
Bikes are extremely high quality and very comfortable to ride. Many nice features compared to others.
Bike - independence
my bike has given me an independence i havent had in 2 years. i am recovering from cancer and the neuropathy has been severe
Adjustment
Adjustment
The Gazelle staff gave me great advice on how to adjust my handlebars.
75 year-old recreational & fitness rider
I am a 75 year-old recreational/fitness rider. After owning three Treks, a Giant and a Specialized over several years, my dealer steered me towards a Gazelle T10+ and I was immediately impressed. The difference in quality, balance, ride and handling characteristics were immediate and the attention to fit and finish is excellent. And the best news... my new T10+ is an absolute beast on those hills that, until now, used to ruin my ride and leave me exhausted. I can now stay out longer, ride further and enjoy the experience.
Great bike but expensive accessories
