Don't bother they have gone utter…
Don't bother they have gone utter garbage, the old one that were hardwired into a fused switch spur or junction box like most have been for years they havd stopped doing and now plug in only or battery you have cliam up a ladder ever month recharge the battery. The plug in you either have drill larger whole get the ethernet plug and power adapter through or have ugly wires going around your walls instead of being need in the wall. Thd old ezviz ones I have are now useless as my brand new Internet and new routers will not connect to thier old crap software. The month subscription now has tripled in last 5 years to store footage. Dont bother support never contacts and the onetime they do you get a ridiculous trouble shoot, which you have already done. In which they said you could change you cameras but dont do hardwire one like that or keep by other cameras with them and the two hard wired with someone new. So they want you pay to subscriptions. Honestly buy proper cameras, these are all plug in only or ethernet running wires everywhere. These went from ok to diy people. And the millions who have all the hardwire set ups already These cameras are useless
Rip offs After using the camera
After using the camera. I was told about another camera. So, I purchased the next camera, took down the Ezvizlife camera, deleted it off my account, phone esc.... That wasn't good enough they continue to charge me. I contacted them no responds, so I went to the bank had it taken off, well it happens again. The bank gave me a new card, low and behold they got that card number, now starting again. I do not have the camera anymore, use a different camera where I don't need any ones storage or anything. So what am I paying for from them???? How do I stop- them taking my money paying for nothing,
Please fo not buy this camera
Please do not buy this camera. I have changed at least all types of memory , even i bought what they advised
,but nothing worked. Wasted £50 for £20 camera
Okayish, but with serious flaws
Consumer-grade cameras. Decent built quality. Surprisingly good video quality on all the 5-6 models I use. Easy to configure in the EZVIZ app. Competitive pricing.
A very clever and well designed video entryphone range (although I had to return one SD5 as faulty).
Major flaws:
– Poor WiFi implementation. No support for 802.11k/v/r – cameras tend to select the *weakest* WiFi signal in the mesh, or whatever access point shows up first when scanning. It's a problem unrelated to mesh device manufacturer or mesh standard – it's purely an EZVIZ fault, discussed on various forums. Also, no secondary SSID can be configured for situations when primary is down.
– Poor app ergonomy, unfortunately like in many Chinese apps. Tiny buttons and tap areas, poor element contrast, tiny grey font that can't be zoomed in (accessibility problem!), navigation glitches.
– Automatic recording saves only short clips of approx. 10 seconds, even when using a high-capacity SD card.
– Poor integration with Google Home – video previews take 1–2 minutes to load, often fail loading altogether.
– Outdoor camera matrices and/or lens tend to get blurry over time (2–3 years).
– Video streams and app controls are processed on China-based servers.
Overall, while EZVIZ offers a low-cost, easy-to-configure and fairly useful system, its flaws (esp. the WiFi roaming problem) make me look for other solutions.
Awful company
Awful company. If you have a problem good luck. And watch subscriptions! Avoid

Poor quality camera…
I bought one of the EZVIZ life cameras with a solar panel. Initially worked fine. However the battery ran down quickly. So I charged the battery as instructed in the booklet. The charge connection then melted. The camera can no longer be charged. I contacted the manufacturer as the product was under 12 months old. They asked me to show them the damage and invoice, which I did. They then came back and asked for the product charging. I repeatedly told them that the camera could no longer be charged due to the connection being melted. Poor poor customer service, they will not replace the camera or give me my money back.
DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANY’S CAMERAS.
Save your money, buy from a reputable brand
Where to start? I bought a robot vacuum from EZVIZ 2 years ago which works perfectly well. Because of this, my family bought one for my grandparents who have mobility problems. The machine has never worked from the day we got it in January 2025. It just goes over the same small area, bumps into things then can’t even return itself back to base. It doesn’t work, it can’t vacuum the whole room never mind a small patch of it. It’s been 10 months of back and forth with their customer services. Even with multiple videos showing how the device does not work they repeatedly say the device is working normally. Their customer services go round in circles, unlike the vacuum which I wish at least went round in a circle so it would clean something. We are completely at a loss as to what to do, hundreds of pounds down the drain and absolutely no help from EZVIZ. Please save your money and buy from a reputable brand.
Work great for us
Am absolutely gob-smacked at the awful experiences and reviews as our experience with installing and using 8 different EZViz cameras has been nothing but faultless. Have never tried to use the customer support like many have do can’t comment on that, and yes needed to do some homework when installing some of the cameras (they ONLY work with 2.4GHz wifi not 5) but otherwise have now had them for over 5 years with nothing but accolades for function, sensitivity and faultless operation. Clearly we just got real lucky….?
Cameras constantly fails to load.
The cameras seem good but constantly fail. They fail to load, shift position, won't move when needed and the sound it intermittent. We have great Internet and Wi-Fi but the cameras still won't work. Shame. The tech isn't as good as they seem.
Had 6 cameras supplied and fitted
Had 6 cameras supplied and fitted. One external camera's housing began to let rain water in and blurred all images. Have supplied every requested evidence (screenshots, photos, serial numbers, bank transaction statement and online review of installation as proof of purchase, tried their suggestion to fix using hairdryer) and now customer services say without receipt, they can't help - even though I quoted Consumer Act, which confirms receipt not needed. Now with Resolver to try to sort a replacement. Poor customer service, using unlawful advice.
Bought 4 cameras.. all go to the bin.
I bought 4 of their camera,. They look good and are discreet and the picture is nice. But they stop working with no reason. Sometimes they stop charging all together (I have them all usb connected to the main). One other incredible defect is that you can't record non-stop. It only detects a mouvement, records 10 or 30 seconds, and stops for several seconds or minutes, and then records again. So it is useless.
As for customer service, the guys are incredibly unprofessional and efficient. I tried for one year and 1./2 to sort out the problems with them but they just don't know. We have had more than 30 email exchanges always about the same problems.
I asked them to speak on the phone and guide me. They answered that I was living outside the catchment area for verbal support. I live in London, UK. As a summary, they have a very good product but with too many issues, it bogs and they don't have the personnel to fix problems.
I have thrown money by the window buying these cameras and will throw them to the bin looking for a reliable company.
Awful products and technical support is…
Awful products and technical support is the most inept I've seen in a long, long time. Avoid at all cost.
Poor customer support
Poor customer support: Many users express frustration with unresponsive or unhelpful customer service. Complaints describe long email exchanges, unresolved technical issues, and being directed to ineffective AI bots. Some customers reported getting no response at all when trying to resolve warranty issues or obtain footage after a robbery.
Installation and connectivity issues: Some reviewers report significant difficulties with the initial setup process. Common problems include cameras stopping installation at 90%, failed network resets, and persistent Wi-Fi disconnection.
It is impossible to install
It is impossible to install, I have 3 of them. One stops installation at 90% with no feedback what to do. The other stops again at 90% and tells you that there is an incorrect password on its own wifi device with no ability to manually input the password as per app instructions.
no Support
The product itself is good and works well when it’s functioning. However, the major downside is the lack of proper maintenance and customer support. I have more than 50 emails exchanged with their support team regarding an issue with my doorbell device, and despite all the follow-ups, they were unable to fix it or replace it. Good product, but very poor after-sales service.
Ezviz plus 4 vacuum
Having purchased this vacuum 9 months ago it has been absolutely fantastic, 4000pa of suction picks up most things and anything it leaves you can send it round again, its not to noisy and has plenty of battery to do a standard home lay out probably 4 times over, the app is very good, I mainly use it for hoovering and not mopping, did use the mop once and tbh that function could work better, I think the more expensive/advanced robot hoovers are getting better at that, but I got this purchase for around £200 and so far its been very useful and with its advanced mapping its very clever finding its way about and home again, we have a cleaning station with a bin for all the dirt to get sucked into which I highly recommend over just the hoover itself, I've not had to use customer service which seem to have alot of negative responses on here but I can highly recommend this robot vacuum
Bad customer service
No answer at all, no communication, they just ignoring me. Terrible customer service
Absolutely impossible to Set Up
Absolutely impossible to set the cameras up, failure to connect every time despite following the instructions to the letter...
Ezviz is the worst
