Scam. Fake claim of Norloom .Closing down sale of handmade icelandic wool sweaters, but totally acrylic made in China

Scam , fake , don't be deceived.
Bitterly disappointed. Ordered a hand knitted Icelandic wool sweater . Received an acrylic one made in China by a machine.
This is fraudulent . I only bought it for a person who loves handmade and received this utterly fake item.

Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to share this. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience — but we want to clarify that the purchase you’re referring to did not come from our company, Norloom.

We create made-to-order tailored T-shirts in Budapest, Hungary, and we do not sell Icelandic wool sweaters of any kind. Unfortunately, there is a fraudulent website operating under a very similar name: norrloom.com (with two “r”s). This site has misled several people, and we’ve been actively reaching out to help clarify the difference wherever possible.

Your review was likely meant for that scam website — not for us.
We’re a newly launched small business, and these mistaken reviews are understandably worrying for potential customers, so we genuinely appreciate your understanding as we work to clean up the confusion.

If you still have the order confirmation or website you purchased from, you will see it isn’t connected to us in any way. And if you need help reporting the scam site, we’re happy to guide you.

Thank you again for updating this once clarified — it means a lot to a real small business trying to build trust.

We have no connection to the Icelandic store you mentioned, and we do not use their photos, identity, or branding in any way.

Our only official website is: https://norloom.eu

Hi,
Thanks for raising this — we understand how similar domain names can cause confusion.

To clarify:
Norloom (with one “r”) is our official and only brand, and our website is https://norloom.eu.
We are not connected in any way to “norrloom.com” or any other variation of our name.

If you encountered a website with a different spelling, that is not us, and we recommend avoiding it as well.

This Trustpilot page is the verified profile for our legitimate business, and we’re working to report and remove misleading domains.

If you have any screenshots or links, feel free to send them privately so we can take action.

Thank you for helping us keep customers safe.

Watch the spelling of NORLOOM!

It seems that NORLOOM is OK but definitely NOT NORRLOOM with a double 'R'. They are a fake Chinese website saying that they are selling Icelandic jumpers.
I have edited my feedback based on sensible and explanatory contact from Norloom who are based in Budapest and do T shirts.
Sadly this is really confusing for legitimate purchases.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to explain what you encountered.

We want to be very clear: the website you interacted with was not Norloom.
Our brand does not sell sweaters, does not run discount campaigns, and is not linked to any Chinese trading companies or PayPal accounts like the one you mentioned.

Norloom is a European business based in Budapest, and we only make made-to-order T-shirts.
Our only official website is: https://norloom.eu

Unfortunately, there are fraudulent websites using similar spellings of our name. We understand how confusing this can be, and we are working to report these domains to prevent further issues.

If you’d like, feel free to contact us directly through our verified site — we’re here to help clarify anything.

Hi,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but we need to clarify that the site you ordered from was not Norloom.

Norloom does not sell sweaters, and we do not ship from China. We only create made-to-order custom-tailored T-shirts from our official website: https://norloom.eu

It appears you encountered a fraudulent site using a similar name, and we understand how frustrating this can be. We encourage you to report the transaction to your payment provider, as they can often help recover funds from misleading merchants.

We are continuously reporting these imitation domains to protect customers, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
