This company basically covers catastrophic situations and has exclusions for typical travel events buried in the fine print. For example, a weather event and a missed connection must continue for 48 hours with the airport being impacted before you can cancel the trip. Cancel for any reason must be done 2 days before departure. If your flight is delayed, resulting in missed connections, and the airline can't get you on other flights because they're sold out, and you miss your cruise departure and upcoming ports so you have to cancel the cruise, you are SOL. This company will not pay. DO NOT buy insurance with them. They underwrite for several carriers, so be alert. Don't waste your money! Scam!
