Was so pleased with the service. It rained the three days of our rental for our Disneyland trip and we received a full refund for our rental. I didn’t even have to apply as the company contacted me.

Expectations exceeded! Thankful we took the leap of faith on this weather insurance. Our trip was a total washout and although we made the most of it, it took the sting out of it to get the refund for the house rental. WeatherPromise kept it's promise. I had a question and they were VERY responsive and clearly put customer service at the top of their priorities. Highly recommend!

I had never used WeatherPromise before. I decided to purchase the policy before we went on our vacation. As it turned out, it did rain for most of our trip. I was contacted by WeatherPromise and told that my refund would be coming. The refund procedure was a little tricky for me because it involved using a program called Stripe of which I was unfamiliar with. I contacted Tobias from WeatherPromise and he worked with me until I felt comfortable with compliance. I was refunded within two days. This is a great program. It works beautifully despite my hesitation. And the personnel involved in the process are fabulous at response to emails and messages. Highly recommend.

The rep Tobias was thorough in communications, and when I asked for a reconsideration, he was timely and thorough with my request. It rained all 3 of my 3 full days of vacation. Weather Promise only deemed 2 days as worthy of being labeled as “rainy”. EVEN THOUGH their own documentation showed precipitation on the the 3rd day for eight out of eight hours… However, they are claiming that in that 8 hours only 1 hour was “proven” to meet the .04 inches of accumulation (the requirement is 3 hours of .04” accumulation). Read the fine print everyone! THEY ARE A SCAM!!! I even had HOURS of video documentation of the rain.., Clearly, I could not enjoy my vacation day when it was “precipitating” for 8 hours! However they deemed because their “weather experts” from the area did not agree the accumulation met their “criteria”.
The company does NOT want to fully honor their commitment to their customers. DO NOT USE THEM.

We were happy we invested that little bit of assurance in our trip.

WeatherPromise notified me that there was a refund. The refund came in less than 24 hours. They also have a great service department.

Best trip coverage purchase we ever made. After our trip, Weather Promise reached out to let us know that their data showed we had two full days of rain during our stay. We received 100% of our rental fee within a few days of our return. The process couldn't have been easier.

Such an easy process!
Our entire weekend was rain 15-20 mph wind. The weather was terrible and we were not able to enjoy outdoor activities. So thankful I paid for weatherpromise!

They did exactly as advertised. It rained the majority of my trip and they refunded my $. They started analyzing weather the day my trip started and determined i had met the criteria for a refund.. It was very smooth transaction and I will purchase it again!!

What a nice surprise. We had a lovely vacation with a few days of rain. What a shock when the whole thing was paid back. I will definitely use Weather Promise again.

The weather Promise application process was simple, and was true to its “promise” as I did indeed qualify for a full refund due to rain.
I was introduced to weather promise by booking through VRBO. My only concern with their process, is that they required my bank account number or debit card account number to issue my refund to. They use a third party company named Stripe, which required an onboarding process to include this very sensitive information. After much correspondence of my hesitation to provide that info, I was granted my payout in another way. All handled very professionally and with validation of my concerns. A fantastic company definitely geared toward pleasing the customer, which is hard to find these days.

The process through VRBO was straightforward and clear. The value to cost was very reasonable. The service worked well and the communication was excellent. The payment for coverage was efficient and timely. We eill definitely take this insurance into consideration each time we travel.

This was a great surprise , since, the majority of our trip got rained on. Now, we can try to have a trip, minus rain?

I was kept updated in a timely fashion. When it was determined that we received the amount of rain to qualify for the refund, the refund was virtually immediate.

A great experience and refund was quick and easy as promised.

I did not get anymore money back due to not raining enough during the day but they answered my questions quickly. I would use them again in a heartbeat, just look at the weather or consider the time of year before booking.
