Before I’m a regular client of western union in Jeddah ksa, from 2019 up to 2024, until I did a vacation here in Philippines and my employer and friends from Saudi Arabia sends me money, here in surallah western union branch, the fat staff ask me if my sender have already sent me before? And I said yes! She said it’s a fraud!!! Without asking me if who is the person!! Since then I don’t let my friends my sisters or my family claims to western union! Especially in my place surralah western union!! Staff are not good!! And it’s soo hustle to recieved in there! They will accused you of fraud!! That I do t even know, what is happening my goshh!! Western union send?? Or recieved?? I will rather choose Cebuana and bank than this remittance center!!
The bank does not help with solving issues related to their bank. I have been calling them no stop for months and they have not been helpful at all. " All they say is the issue has been sent to the manager" and every day they give me the same bullshittt. So sick of this bank bro. Probably the worst bank I have ever used

To have Western Union suggest that my fiance might be a scammer was a bit strong and witholding my money I was sending we are building an 8 home complex in Uganda I have known my girlfriend now for way over 10 years even when my wife was alive i knew her but we were just friend after my wife passed away we started to meet and become involved and plan on marrying i have friends who knew her in Kenya and they will vouch for her she works for UAE Airlines she needs security clearance to work there. I do not know why Western was so against it holding money for my share of the complex we are building this is going to be one of our income when it is finished. I think I am old enough to know what I am doing I have worked in the Security for an international company called ATCO. My sons have met her and are ok with me marrying her so I do not need to hire a maid to clean my house and cook my food. As for Western Union I do not have anything nice to say so better say nothing right Josh?

I was trying to send money to my wife for emergency purposes, but couldn't get money on time, even though my bank showed money being paid to Western Union but still my wife has not received money I sent her to Hong Kong. Disappointed with service
I tried to cash in Western union transaction around $6600 and non of affiliated money mart . Walmart . Super c or other could cash it for me I tried every place around the area none how can they do transaction they can't process.very disappointed never again using Western union we lost $100 transaction fee and cancel it.
Send money in minuets um No! My long time friend of over 20 years lives in Jamaica and visit him every time we go. Jamaica just got hit with a category 5 Hurricane! His house was blown apart, he has no electricity, no water, no food! Gas is expensive roads are washed out and he has had to drive to try and get money from western union that I sent and it is on hold! I call and it’s cancelled! WTF my friend is suffering and they are reviewing my lousy $200 as fraud wtf, category 5 hurricane western union get your head out of your ass. I’m heading to Jamaica in February and my friend always picks me up from the airport but who knows if he will be alive! All of their vegetable crops are demolished he is a farmer! He has no money no way to make money now and has no house the roof and walls blew off! I couldn’t even check to see if he was alive after the hurricane because no power anywhere no internet the roads were blocked by trees and debris.
The transfers are great, but sometimes the exchange rate could be a little better.
Western Union have lied to us for more than 2 years about the point system, they have stolen our points that we had (not enough to redeem but we still earned them) and now just want to give us the run around. Still on their site in FAQ it says that the reward points feature has been temporarily suspended, this is after more than 2 years.
From the reply we have recieved from Western Union, they are still giving us the run around by purposely not answering our comment or they are stupidly misunderstanding. They also only incorrectly adressed part of our comment.

Tried 6 times to send money to my sister and failed. The website operates at snails pace meaning I have spent hours on my computer to no avail. My bank authorised the transaction each time but WU said it was not authorised. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely ridiculous service.
They took money from me twice saying timed out try again. And both times I tried they took the money from me. Literally just said let me check my account and there it was money removed without even being transferred or transaction complete.
Ok return the money they said they have r cancelled the transaction and it just a pending order .
Ok next day the money still not returned we apologise it will take 1-3 business days.
Ok no problem
3 business days after money has still not returned.
We apologise there is nothing we can do .
I have to DIspute this with my bank now
