Poor furniture, worse customer service
Poor furniture, poor customer service. This is a mentally exhausting experience to pay such price but receiving an incomplete furniture, the lagging communication has not only wasted more time, but also leads nowhere. I found the furniture had missing parts, I online chatted with its representative right away hoping they can mail them to me, representative Axl offered me 10% to get from local stores. I counted 15% since the parts were unique style and sizes, I wasn’t even sure I can find any unless to have professional custom make them. While the communication was so lagging, I made call while waiting for Axl’s response. Representative Nixon assured me I will get responses in 24hours if I reply his email with picture evidence. I went back home found more issues with the furniture, both sets of doors has alignment issues and there were black marks all over the door surface, I included them in my email. Unfortunately I got a reply with no responding name instead of only customer service department to let me know they had prepared the furniture completely no mention of anything else. It is childish behavior to ignore the responsibilities of being a customer service representative, apparently it is the easiest for them to reject the defective product after sale and ignore the original 10% offer their representative Axl had given to me (I have screenshots). I have followed up multiple emails but no response to my replacement request. There no way I will trust this company nor their customer service.

I ordered several pieces of furniture from Hernest on November 13, including a dining table that was supposed to arrive within a few days. Instead, the delivery took much longer than advertised, and when the table finally arrived, the delivery team opened the box and showed me that it was completely broken. They took pictures and took the table back immediately.
Since then, the customer service process has been frustrating and unhelpful. I’ve had to repeat the same information multiple times, even though the delivery team already documented the damage. Instead of providing a clear solution or replacement timeline, Hernest kept asking for confirmations and offering vague answers.
Now I’m being told that a replacement may take 8–16 more days, which is unacceptable considering the product arrived damaged and the original delivery was already delayed. I needed the table for an event at my home, and the delays completely ruined that plan.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience — misleading delivery estimates, damaged product, slow communication, and no urgency to fix their mistake. I would not recommend ordering from Hernest based on what I went through.

Had an issue with my initial delivery and the team was highly responsive and re-arranged everything. Table was exactly as advertised and looks wonderful thanks!

I like the piece I ordered, don't love it (the Ragnar sideboard). The delivery process was pretty smooth. I think the sideboard is a little cheap looking, a few design details that were overlooked. I wanted to leave photos and review on the website, and reached out to support for help. They sent me a link to another person's order, including their name, address, and last four of their Amex card. MAJOR RED FLAG!!!! They have no idea what they're doing over there and are really careless with customer's private data. I am very worried about who they've given my information to. I do not recommend.

This company has great communication and customer service. I needed my order delivery delayed and they handled that seemlessly. The furniture is gorgeous. I would and will order again.

I order a tv stan on November. My package was supposed to be arriving bwt November 25tg to December 2nd. Its December 3rd, when I track the package it showed is has been in the truck out for delivery since November 18th. I contacted then they have no idea where my package is

Valborg Oak Media Console
We ordered the Valborg Oak Media Console in black. The piece arrived way before expected delivery date and the delivery service was excellent. The console is stunning. Would have loved the shelving behind the glass to have lighting but that’s an easy fix for me to add myself. Love the console.

The furniture buying process was seamless with Hernest! I was able to place my order and they reached out within a few days to schedule my delivery and confirm my time frame. The delivery team was exceptional and also handled everything with care. Will definitely be purchasing more furniture from Hernest!
Damaged item but made whole by Hernest and their support team
We ordered the Valborg 80" Oak Media Console (Black). When it arrived the delivery service notes that the box was damaged in a few areas. Upon open the box we discover our the console tables was damaged on its face and doors. We sent an email to Hernest support and they offered us a few options to resolve the issue 1.) send it back or 2.) % back and get it repaired locally. We took the second option for a % back on our purchase and take the money to have it repaired. The packaging on the table was robust and without it I'm sure the item would have came more beat up. When made aware of the issue Hernest jumped right into action and only asked we send a picture or the damaged box and the item. Then they took care of us right away. other then the damage during shipping (which is not their fault) the product and our experience have been great. I would buy from them Hernest again.

Perfect piece for our nyc apartment
Perfect piece for our nyc apartment. The item itself is amazing and comes mostly built. One issue i encountered wasn’t with the company but with FedEx as they left the huge box in my lobby and I had to figure out a way to get it up two flights. So if you’re in a walk up, plan for that on delivery.
