The only thing somewhere far I don't like is, you don't let people know they have overvdraft protection if they don't want it. So merchant take from your account that they don't have permission or unauthorized. Then I call your customer care and they tell me I have to turn that feature off after being charged a healthy fee. Not right.

I joined the organization specifically because it is one of just a few black owned banks. I have enjoyed my experience because they didn't give me problem, but when I did have issues they resolved it quickly, accurately, kindly, and professionally. I would recommend them without hesitation.

A run-around process to resolve.. not pleased..
This is really unfortunate. I would not have rated this experience with OneUnited, if I wasn't given a 'run-around.' Two of my payments weren't 'showing up' on my account even after I was emailed verification and funds were withdrawn from the account that paid the payment. I first was instructed to fax/mail a transmission report to the office to verify my payments were made. I completed that task. Then I was told to contact my bank where the payments were withdrawn. I did so. The bank has nothing to offer but confirm - yes - these amounts were debited from your account to OneUnited. Now I am being instructed to resend this transmission report to the office. I've expressed my concern and disappointment in the back and forth to each different representative. I do appreciate their desire to handle the matter but this is unacceptable, especially when this 'non-payment for two months' is costing me/ my creditworthiness.. and a deduction in my credit score. One star is for the customer service doing their best. Another star is because it wasn't always like this with my account.. At this point I cannot and will not, recommend OneUnited.

Customer Service . I would like to get a timely response to a check deposit in which I was told to expect a response in 24 hours for a one time deposit exceeding amount it’s been between 36/40 hours no response Im sure it’s a higher up decision, other than that customer service great.

The Bank personnel who assisted me was very professional, efficient, courteous, helpful, and provided me with OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Most importantly she addressed me by my Sir name. I consider this to be the height of professionalism and respect!

Terrible bank
Terrible bank, awful customer service, you can barely access your money. I closed my account w them and it took over a month to get the check and clear. No one working there knows anything, they transfer you to another person who knows nothing. It’s just bad and sadly so unorganized
