I had already completed the renewal process and had a doctor’s certification that legally allowed me to drive until the new plastic card arrived. So, I was authorized to drive — the problem was their miscommunication and lack of knowledge. I was in a hurry, but I still did everything possible to resolve the situation. I called the institution, the offices, and even the Motorizzazione Civile, who all confirmed that my documents were fully valid by law. Despite this, the agency still refused to give me the car. Because of their incompetence, I had to book another car with a different agency — and they accepted my documents immediately. At the same time, the original agency told me they would refund me. But surprise: the money was taken from my account anyway. When I called the rental company, they told me to contact DoYouSpain to get my refund. I called them, and the customer service girl was extremely rude. She told me I wouldn’t get a refund because I didn’t show the plastic license — even after I explained that the renewal paper is valid and the agency itself had confirmed this. There was simply no way to reason with her. This is not about the money — it’s about the injustice. Every country has its own rules regarding driving-license renewal procedures, and customer support should know this. Instead, I faced incompetence, disrespect, and a complete lack of professionalism. I am speechless. The entire experience was unacceptable, and I will never rent a car with them again. Totally disgusted. :(

That was when I was given Samban Chen’s details. Sam took the time to discuss my options, throughout there was never any judgement about the situation I was in. The information she gave me allowed me to make an informed decision instead of feeling lost and scared. Taking the initial moulds was not easy, I won't lie, and because of how bad my teeth were it was even harder. Throughout these appointments Sam was supportive, and able to keep me calm, not an easy thing to do with my controlling personality. Sam talked me through the whole process at every step, and even though it was not easy I felt in control throughout. I opted for immediate dentures post extractions. Certainly not an easy option and there were lots of tears and frustrations. This whole journey has created a lot of tears. Sam throughout remained supportive, non judgemental and informative. 3 Months out. No more tears. Sam has given me my life back. I never realised before that I had stopped smiling and avoided events as this had happened over many years. 3 months later I am smiling again and feeling confident. This has been life changing in the most positive way. Sam has given me my life back, and throughout has treated me with kindness and respect. The whole experience has been life changing in a positive way. For anybody having to go through this process I highly recommend Caredent and Samban Chen. Thank you so much for giving me back my smile.

A truly demonic organisation whose primary end goal is to make their customers question their own sanity. You have to provide a checklist when you start. If you vary from that checklist - even by a little (say, a 3-seat sofa is actually a 4-seat sofa) - they ding you. What if the move is not definable as per their checklist - say, you have to go to a storage unit (where you may not remember what is precisely there)? You call and speak with a sympathetic ear, who then tells you everything is okay. The team arrive at the storage unit and it is literally an item-by-item charge to move anything. We ultimately did a very large amount ourselves. Any attempt to reach customer service after the initial point of sale is pointless. If you call the day before to try to go through everything in detail, you get an automated WhatsApp chat and no hope of contact. The customer service rep will answer from a script and will not vary from it - the particular issue we had was the definition of a "medium" box - which we clearly said we were providing and which I described to the helpful rep in those halcyon days when we were being onboarded - they brought "medium" boxes which were the smallest boxes of any kind I'd ever seen then insisted I would have to pay more if we wanted to use larger boxes. If you use them - and I sincerely hope you do not - please be sure to itemise literally everything you own, including your sanity and your soul, or you will find yourself either paying for it or losing it.
